“Stand in the ways and see,
and ask for the old paths,
where the good way is,
and walk in it.”
Jeremiah 6:16

About This Ministry

Revisiting the Old Path is a Bible teaching ministry dedicated to helping people return to the original teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles as revealed in the New Testament. This mission is not about creating a new religion, denomination, or denomination-based movement. Rather, it is a call to rediscover the simple, biblical faith taught by Christ and practiced by the first-century church.

The inspiration for this work comes from God's call:
“Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it.”
Jeremiah 6:16

Jesus Christ established His church (Matthew 16:18) and commissioned His apostles to preach the gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:18–20). The apostles faithfully recorded God's will in the New Testament so that every generation could know and follow His divine pattern.

Over the centuries, many traditions, doctrines, and practices have been introduced that cannot be traced to the teachings of Christ and His apostles. Revisiting the Old Path exists to encourage every believer to examine those teachings carefully, compare them with Scripture, and follow God's Word above human tradition (Acts 17:11; Colossians 2:8).

Our Mission

Exalt Jesus Christ as the only Head of the church.
Teach the Bible accurately and in its context.
Encourage believers to return to the New Testament pattern.
Equip Christians to study, teach, and defend God's Word.
Promote Christian unity based on the truth of Scripture.
Call all people to obey the gospel and remain faithful to Christ.

Why Trevor A. Adams Began This Ministry

Trevor A. Adams began Revisiting the Old Path after observing that many sincere people desire to follow God but are often influenced by religious traditions, denominational doctrines, and personal opinions that are not always supported by Scripture. He became burdened by the growing confusion surrounding biblical authority and recognized the need for a ministry devoted to encouraging people to return to the teachings of Christ and His apostles.

His desire is not to criticize individuals or denominations, but to encourage every person to open the Bible, examine the Scriptures carefully, and allow God's Word to be the final authority in matters of faith and practice. He believes that genuine Christian unity is possible only when believers submit to the pattern revealed in the New Testament rather than the traditions of men.

Through Bible studies, books, articles, sermons, and teaching materials, his prayer is to help people know Christ more fully, understand God's plan of salvation, strengthen the church, and equip Christians to teach others.

About Trevor A. Adams

Trevor A. Adams lives in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, where he has been a Christian for more than 25 years. He faithfully worships with the St. Thomas Church of Christ, located at 7C Estate Hoffman, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands.

His ministry emphasizes careful Bible study, sound doctrine, and restoring New Testament Christianity. He seeks to encourage believers to test every teaching by the Scriptures, following the example of the Bereans (Acts 17:11).

Trevor's passion is to glorify God by pointing people to Jesus Christ, encouraging obedience to His Word, and helping Christians grow into mature disciples who can teach others also (2 Timothy 2:2). His prayer is that every person will seek "the faith once for all delivered to the saints" (Jude 3) and faithfully follow God's revealed pattern for His church.

"Where the Scriptures speak, we speak; where the Scriptures are silent, we are silent."
